No power on the construction site? This is not an unusual situation, but everyday reality for craftsmen. This is where Wiha’s battery-operated forehead lamp is used, and it provides reliable illumination of up to 500 lm independent of fixed power sources. The forehead lamp features two LEDs. The SMD LED can be set to 140 lm (1 x press) and 350 lm (2 x press) at the touch of a button. The daylight white of the SMD LED with 6500 K is ideally suited for illuminating dark environments. The COB LED with 140 lm (3 x press) and 350 lm (4 x press) delivers neutral white light with 4000 K, which improves colour recognition e.g. in the switch cabinet. The SMD and COB LED together reach 500 lm (5 x presses). Maximum flexibility and efficiency is provided by the dimming function, with which the brightness of all light sources can be steplessly adjusted to the environment by a long press. In terms of efficiency, the motion sensor also scores points, which enables the switching on and off of the hand lamp, e.g. when wearing gloves, and offers the user maximum comfort and energy efficiency. Also included in the delivery are four helmet clips, which support the attachment of the forehead lamp to the protective helmet. The forehead lamp is shockproof (IK07) and splashproof (X6). The light duration is up to 10 h, then the hand lamp can be recharged with the supplied standard USB cable.
