SPDs are recommended for installations in accordance with 18th edition wiring regulation to protect sensitive and expensive electrical equipment. This range of SPDs are characterised by an 8/20?s current wave, they can prevent the spread of over voltages in electrical installations and protects equipment connected to it. These surge protector must be replaced if the indicator turns red. They comply with BS EN61643-11.
